Who gets all this Free money? Well, it goes to people. Remember, 30 million people every year get this money. It is all kinds of organizations ” non-profit organizations, government organizations ” that are giving out this money. I can categorize them. The one category of people who get government grants are people who have needs. People who might have trouble paying their bills. There are government grants out there to help you to pay them.
If you have trouble paying a health bill, a heating bill or a phone bill, or just need extra money ” (yes there is government grant money for people who don’t have a lot of money and just need extra money), there are two programs you should know exist. They are not major, but extremely important. Take out a pencil and paper, and write these down. I found out about these recently, and people should know about them. Even if you are not in the category yourself where you need this information or help, you may have relatives, friends, a senior citizen, or know somebody who has a disability, who may benefit from this wonderful government grant program. The program gives you $1,000 extra a year.
This is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is money back to you. You can call the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services right now and get over $1,051 extra a year. There is an income limitation on this, around $15,000. If you are a senior, then you are probably not making that much. Or we all know seniors who are making less than that. I have seen studies that show three million seniors are eligible for this program and do not apply. Also, people with disabilities are eligible, but if this specific program is not for you, you should know about it because I want more people to know so they get this money for other people, their loved ones, or that little old lady down the street.
The way to find out about this program is to contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Actually, it is run through Medicare. It is www.medicare.gov on the web, or 800-MEDICARE. You are looking for the Medicare premium deductions, called the Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries Plan. There are a couple of names for it. The program gives Medicare Part B premiums back to people who need this kind of income. People who need this money are not applying for it.
There is another program through the Social Security system that gives you an extra $6,000 of spending money that a lot of people do not know exists. This is called the Supplemental Security Income (SSI). If you have a problem with those programs, you can contact your congressman’s or senator’s office and they will help you learn more. These are important programs for people who are in need.
