Money for Disadvantaged Students to Study Nursing

Schools of nursing can receive financial assistance to meet the costs of projects that increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Money can be used for counseling, preliminary education of students, and to support a student. Students must apply to those institutions that have received the money. $7,000 + Spending Money To Study Health Care

The Nursing Workforce Diversity project provides student stipends, pre-entry preparation, and retention activities. Stipends are $250 per month to eligible full-time project students. Scholarships are limited to a maximum of $7,000 per student per year for upper division nursing students.
