George W. Bush Got A $200,000 government grant
… For His Baseball Team
Just look at the people in the White House today. Do you know how George Bush became a millionaire? That’s right, he is a millionaire now in addition to being the president. We all heard that he was more or less a ne’er do well, and was a mediocre student, just like me. The only real money he made was with his baseball team. He found $600,000 to invest in a baseball team in Texas and became the managing partner. As the head of the team he got the government to give him $200 million to build a brand new baseball stadium.
What happens when you get $200 million for free to build a nice stadium for your team? The value of George’s investment soared from $600,000 to about $12 million in a few years. He knew the system, and he got that government money to make him wealthy.
Dick Cheney was even better at it than George W. was. He got literally billions and billions of dollars in government money. He ran a Texas energy company called Halliburton. He got $1.5 billion from a government office called the Export-Import Bank that helped his business sell overseas. He also got another two or three billion dollars in contracts from the government. Government contracts is also money you don’t have to pay back, you just have to do the work. This is another wonderful source of money.
The two people in the White House today are heroes to at least half of our society who voted for them, and they lived off government contracts and government government grants. I am trying to get everybody to be aware of this. We have 30 million people a year who are cashing in on these things. You can, too.
