Incentives for Solar Water Heating Systems
We Energies offers an incentive for non-profits and schools within its service territory that wish to install solar water heating systems. The program acts as a dollar-for-dollar matching rebate for qualified solar water heating projects that receive funding from the state Focus On Energy Solar Water Heating Cash Back Rewards Program (smaller systems) or the Focus On Energy Solar Water Heating Implementation Grant Program (larger systems). In order to be eligible, you must be a We Energies electric customer and systems must displace fuels or electricity and comply with all related Focus On Energy equipment and installation requirements.
