Cash Incentives to Improve Business Energy Efficiency
Rocky Mountain Power’s Energy FinAnswer program provides cash incentives to help its commercial and industrial customers improve the efficiency of their existing facilities and build new facilities that are significantly more efficient than code. New construction and retrofit projects for all industrial facilities can participate as well as all new commercial projects and commercial retrofits in facilities larger than 20,000 square feet. The incentive paid will equal $0.12/kwh annual energy savings, plus $50/KW average monthly on-peak demand savings. Incentives are capped at 50% of the eligible energy efficiency measure cost. In addition to this, Rocky Mountain Power also provides free expert building analysis of recommissioning possibilities. Incentives are also available to reduce the implementation costs of recommissioning measures if the simple payback is greater than one year.
