$100,000 to Reduce Your Energy Usage
Large commercial and industrial Idaho Power customers that reduce energy usage through more efficient electrical commercial and industrial processes may qualify for an incentive of 12 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) saved per year or 70% of the project cost up to $100,000. Incentives are given to customers that are making complex energy efficiency upgrades to their electrical industrial and commercial processes, motor systems, controls, fans, pumps, compressors, lighting, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Projects must have a minimum estimated savings of 20,000 kWh per year to qualify. Projects must be completed within one year of signing an agreement with Idaho Power and incentives will be dispersed only as long as funds are available.
