$100,000 for Bigger Businesses to Improve Energy Efficiency
Glendale Water and Power (GWP) offers an incentive to its medium and large business customers to encourage energy efficiency through their Business Energy Solutions Program. The incentive amount is based on the projected cost of the efficiency improvement and the amount of energy saved through the measure. The incentive is capped at $0.10/square foot for energy audits, 25% of paid labor and materials costs for approved retrofit projects, or 100% of the incremental costs to bring a remodeling and/or new construction project above the minimum Title 24 energy standard. There is also a maximum limit of $100,000 in incentives to one customer per fiscal year.
