Rebates Available in Clean Energy Development Fund Program
The Clean Energy Development Fund (CEDF) Grant Program seeks to promote the development and deployment of cost-effective and environmentally sustainable electric power resources – primarily renewable energy resources and combined heat and power (CHP) systems – for the long-term benefit of Vermont electric customers. The most recent round of grant funding offered a total of $2 million and funding supported four categories of projects: pre-project financial assistance, small-scale systems, large-scale systems and special demonstration projects. Proposed projects were required to have an electric generation component and be grid-connected. Off-grid projects and thermal projects (except CHP systems) were not eligible. The range of maximum awards, which varied by project category, was $20,000 to $250,000 for individual projects. Cost-share is required for all projects.
