Rebates on Offer in Commercial Energy Efficiency Program
Otter Tail Power Company offers incentives to all of its commercial customers in South Dakota to install energy efficient equipment in their facilities. Rebates are available for geothermal and air source heat pumps, lighting, and motors as well as multiple high-efficiency electric heating technologies including hot water heaters, thermal storage technologies, and commercial cooking equipment. The Lighting Project provides rebates to commercial and industrial customers that purchase a variety of energy-efficient lighting technologies. The Energy-Efficient Motor Rebate Project is designed to encourage customers to purchase higher-efficiency replacement motors. Motor rebates vary depending on motor size. A rebate of $20/kW is offered for electric water heating, thermal storage technologies, and commercial cooking equipment. All installments must meet certain energy efficiency standards to qualify.
